Overview

abstract

  • Recent progress in meniscal repair technology has included the development of bioabsorbable implants that can be inserted without a posterior incision. Satisfactory success rates have been reported. Reports of complications have been rare. We present 5 cases of failure of a biodegradable meniscal repair implant, each of which presented as a subcutaneous foreign body.
