Overview

abstract

  • The methods, indications and results of imaging haemodialysis access devices, using DSA techniques, are presented, based on 34 examinations. The advantages of this technique with respect to radiation exposure, dynamic registration and dose of contrast medium are compared with conventional film-screen techniques. Case reports illustrate the result and clinical value. DSA is recommended as the method of choice for the common indications for imaging haemodialysis access devices.
